OneFish TwoFish Consulting was designed to make sure we have the the best teams for our client’s needs. OneFish represents research, academia and social science insights, TwoFish represents industry expertise and experience and then we have our ever-growing ‘school of fish”, the Collective that is made up of specialists in different areas.

Over the course of the last few years, our collective has grown as we have expanded on issues related to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. We now have experts in everything from Ghanian culture to writing for characters with autism, from the way to incorporate the language of Indigenous people in VR to representing queer characters in linear media. On the education side, we have tech experts, curriculum experts, anti-racist experts and everything in between. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey as we add consultants who are working in these fields join us for projects that are driven by the needs of our clients.

I am so proud of every member of the collective. Everyone really strives to make a different in children, youth and family media and are committed to giving the best notes to the productions and companies we work with. There is lots of research to support how authentic storytelling and inclusive content not only increases the self-esteem and confidence of the audience/user, but it’s great for business, too.
